Around this part in the story a key scene is the part where they find an old man kinda named Ely. I say this because the old man lies about his name, age, and health. This scene shows how the man is on guard with everyone he sees. This scene also shows how innocent the boy is and how he is still humane. (read the book if you want to understand what I just said) From my point of view this was the only scene I saw as important because I showed the mental state of the boy and man at this point of the story.
