BNW: Saigo Ni (The End)
BNW's ending was very abrupt and semi-predictably. I only state this because John is still a "Savage" so him wanting the world state to have religion and for him to want "god, poetry, real danger, freedom, goodness, and sin" is normal and expected. However the hanging of himself was something I didn't foresee. While reading the scene about how he had the discussion about religion and literature with Mond, i found that the scene was informative of who John truly was and Mond's explanation of soma as "Christianity without tears" was very riveting and allowed me to connect to Mond as a character and further understand the concept behind the actions and story of the "World State" in BNW.
